If you need or want to view or record more than 1 camera simultaneously, then you will need a quad. A quad allows you to connect up to 4 cameras to it and output it to a single display (TV, VCR, etc). The output video is divided into "quadrants" which divides your screen into 4 equal parts to view up to 4 cameras.
This quad allows 4 cameras to be displayed on the same screen simultaneously. All 4 cameras are shown in real-time (30fps). Bring any camera to full screen at any time.
