IP Video Servers turn
any camera into an IP camera. No DVR card or Surveillance DVR is needed. This
device lets you view ANY camera you have remotely over the internet. The camera
connects to the IP server, and the IP server connects to your router. Then, to
view over the internet, just type in your router's IP address from the remote
location. We offer a model with Video and a model with Video and Audio.
If you purchase the Video and Audio model, you view both see and hear (assuming
your camera has audio capabilities). AC power supply is included--just plug it
into a regular wall outlet. Server connects to your router through a standard
Cat 5 (aka network, aka ethernet) cable. View your home or office while
away or on the road simply by entering the IP address. Security made easy. No
complicated applications to install, settings to program, or cards to install
in your computer. This is the absolute easiest way to view any camera over the
internet. Use a hidden camera, IR camera, bullet camera, it doesn't matter. Even
it's not from us. Anything with a BNC or RCA jack can be viewed online. Remote
viewing takes place in IE (Internet Explorer). If your camera has audio or you're
using a microphone, then using the IP Server with Audio, you can view and hear
what is taking place. The audio simply comes out of your computer speakers. These
are by far the most portable and easy to install of our remote internet viewing
products. You do NOT have to open up your computer. You do NOT even need a computer
onsite. Simply connect your camera to the IP video server and connect the server
to your network connection (typically to router or switch via a standard Cat 5
networking cable). Then, to view your camera, simply type in the IP address. It
doesn't get any easier than this. Due to the small size and easy installation
of IP video servers, they give you extreme portability. Just pick up your server
and camera, move it to to the new place, and you're done. Setup is a snap and
takes less than 5 minutes.
