The mic operates on 9 volts and will last 300 hours on 1 high quality 9 volt alkaline battery, or use the included AC power supply. The RCA jack connects easily to a body worn DVR, VCR, TV, or transmitter.

It comes with a 10 ft. long cord with RCA jack end for audio connection, 9 volt clip connector for power, and AC power supply. It has an effective pick-up range of 15-20ft.
