Door Scope/Peep Hole View Camera This is a very popular personal security camera. It is an exact replacement for the door scope or peep hole in most existing doors. The camera has 420 lines of resolution with 0.01lux, which provides a super sharp and an ultra clear image. The lens is a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD. This special lens allows the view angle up to 170 degees. The lens of the camera is adjustable to the thickness of the door, from 37mm to 70mm. It works with 12VDC, and installation is simple. It is plug and play ready. Just attach one of our cables to the camera, and to your TV or VCR. The required power supply is included.
A hard-wired model will have a short power and video cable coming out of the device. This video wire must be connected to a TV, VCR, computer, or another cable. The power wire must be connected to the included 12 volt power supply, and plugged into the nearest receptacle. Most people need to purchase additional power/video cable to extend these connections further than a few feet.
The hard-wired hidden camera can also be connected to a transmitter to be made wireless. The camera and transmitter still need electricity, but the video cable will be eliminated. The transmitter transmits to the receiver, the receiver is plugged into your TV, or recording device. The standard wireless option incorporates a 4 channel selectable transmitter with a 1000 ft. Line of sight rating, and includes a 3db receiver. Wireless transmission is not for everyone. Distance,
quality, and ability to transmit wirelessly will depend directly on how many
obstructions, and what kind of obstructions are in the way such as trees, houses,
buildings, satellite dishes, wireless routers, 2.4ghz cordless phones, and even
cellular towers. If you have any of these in or around your home or office, then
begin by only purchasing one wireless unit, as you may find out only 1 channel is
all you can attain.
