Dual mode color and B&W board camera! This camera automatically switches between a high resolution crystal clear color picture and an extremely low light picture when it gets dark. This is the best Dual Mode board camera we can offer. We cannot find another board camera that will be this high quality color in daylight and automatically switch to .001 lux black and white in the dark. This 1/3" CCD camera incorporates a special infrared filter for nighttime viewing.

This is the same board as the 106CXC and 106CXF. but it has a different lense mount in order to accomodate a variety of board lenses ranging from 6 to 16mm. You cannot put a pinhole lens on this board camera. In turn you cannot put board lenses in our pinhole board camera.

In order to make this camera wireless you just plug it into one of our transmitters and use ac power or battery power to power both the camera and transmitter.

The 106CX pinhole camera offers color, high resolution imaging. This color board camera with plug and play ends has a .1 lux color rating and has a .001 lux B&W rating when it gets dark because of a special IR filter built into the camera . We use this same board camera for our button and screw hidden camera because of the excellent night time visibility

What is the difference between a flat lens and conical lens? The picture is the same regardless whether you select a flat pinhole lens or conical pinhole lens. The difference lies in the installation. Most people find it easier to install a conical lens in drywall or ceiling tile. The conical lens board requires less of a hole in the surface area of drywall or ceiling tile. By the same token, the flat lens is better when using it in something thin, such as a shirt, blouse or painting. Both cameras only need a very small hole to see. The closer the pinhole lens is to the exterior surface of the material, the wider the field of view will be.
